North Brisbane District (NBD) incorporates the Boondall, Hendra, Sandgate, Carseldine and Stafford Police Divisions along with Beat Shopfronts at Chermside, Toombul and Aspley shopping centres. A Neighbourhood Police Beat is located at Banyo.

The North Brisbane Police District Office is located within the Boondall Police Complex. The population of the NBD is in the vicinity of 231,567 people. There are currently 350 police officers and 55 staff members, 3 police liaison officers and 13 Volunteers in Policing attached to police establishments within the District.

NBD contains key areas including –

• Brisbane Airport (Domestic and International)
• Gateway Bridge and Gateway motorway
• Fuel storage/refinery sites at Pinkenba
• Prince Charles Hospital
• Large shopping precincts including Westfield Chermside and Centro
• Toombul Shopping Centres
• Major arterial roads including Gympie and Sandgate Roads
• Moreton Bay coastal locations (Brighton, Sandgate, Shorncliffe) including Houghton Highway Bridge

NBD command falls under four (4) Inspectors responsible for the areas of Patrol Services (North), Patrol Services (West), Patrol Services (South) and Crime Services.

North Brisbane District currently has 43 Neighbourhood Watch groups.
